Prices
All prices are in pounds sterling EXCLUSIVE of VAT. Prices are Duty Paid, unless otherwise stated, and are for full cases of 12 bottles, 24 half bottles or 6 magnums unless stated otherwise. “Case” is defined as a dozen bottles or equivalent.
In Bond
Virtually all wines are available for purchase under bond. If you require your wines under bond, please deduct £17.50 for wine and £20 for Port & Champagne. We require your bond account number/code.
Delivery and minimum purchase
All wines are offered ex London City Bond. Prices quoted include cost of delivery to mainland England but must be made up to a minimum of 36 bottles. Smaller orders will incur a surcharge of £15 ex VAT while single case orders can be delivered, but with the carriage charged on at cost, as determined by postcode. For deliveries to Scotland, please enquire. Wine may be collected duty paid from our London Bond, Tilbury.
We also offer a wine storage service. Please ask for further details.
Claims and Availability
All wines should be inspected on delivery and any claim made within 3 days. Please note, all wines are often subject to availability and price change.
Payment
Payment is due on receipt of invoice or 30 days from date of order for approved trade customers. All export orders must be paid for prior to shipment.
Title
The property in the wines shall not pass to you until we have received in cleared funds payment in full of the price of the wines and other wines agreed to be sold by us to you for which payment is then due. Until such time as the property in the wines passes to you, you shall hold the wines as our fiduciary agent and bailee and shall keep the wines separate from those of your or of third parties and properly stored, protected, insured and identified as our property. Until that time, you shall be entitled to re-sell the wines in the ordinary course of your business. Until such time as the property in the wines passes to you (and provided the wines are still in existence and have not been re-sold), we shall be entitled at any time to inspect the wines and require you to deliver up the wines to us and if you fail to do so forthwith to enter upon any premises of yours or of any third party where the wines are stored and repossess the wines.
