Specificity

De Wetshof has been the first registered wine estate in the Robertson Valley.

Today, De Wetshof is one of the few third generation wine estates in South Africa. Danie de Wet, proprietor and cellarmaster, is assisted by sons Johann (viticulture and marketing) and Peter (winemaker). Purely quality driven and highly technological, they are known to be true pioneers of Chardonnay in this region, as they played a role in introducing the Burgundian variety to the country. Despite making history in this way, De Wetshof never look back, only forward, determined to continue to be the future of South African winemaking.
