Biological and biodynamic approach to winemaking |
Today being overseen by its fourth generation of the Drouhin family, Joseph Drouhin is a staple producer within Burgundy. Introducing the siblings from left to right: Frédéric Drouhin is the President of the Executive Board; Véronique Drouhin-Boss is the Head Winemaker; Laurent Drouhin is Head of the United States Market and Philippe Drouhin is the Estates Manager. They pride themselves on working with and listening to nature, with a biological and biodynamic approach to their winemaking. In this way, they expertly represent the terroirs in which they produce, ensuring that each plot truly displays its own personality in the bottle. Their values lead to reliably expressive and elegant wines, accounting for the fact that more than two thirds of the vineyards are classified as Premier and Grand Crus.
